RVSM in Europe

The two systems installed by Roke currently track a total of more than 1000 flights per day. This level of coverage means that many aircraft are automatically monitored, saving valuable resources, and providing the necessary evidence to EUROCONTROL to support the Safety Case for RVSM.

Noise Monitoring

vigilance-sou.tnA joint Roke Manor Research/Lochard solution provides BAA Southampton Airport with cost-effective surveillance that overcomes existing coverage issues at the airport caused by difficult terrain. As a result, the airport is able to determine the position of aircraft flying over the surrounding area more accurately.

North Atlantic Airspace Surveillance

The Vigilance system made wide area surveillance possible at the two key transatlantic sites of Strumble (UK) and Gander (Canada).
