Principal of Operation
 Vigilance calculates the position of an aircraft using passive surveillance techniques. It fixes an aircraft's position by referencing the time difference of arrival of a signal at a collection of sensors. Roke has used this well-established technology for over a decade to provide 3D multilateration systems.
Our technology can synchronise – to sub-nanosecond accuracy – sensors hundreds of kilometres apart using our advanced GNSS time transfer system. It can position-fix and track objects in 3D for a wide range of civil and military applications.
